Sittin' Pretty

5 months, 2 weeks, and sitting up!! Today is the first day he did it all by himself for any real length of time! We've been practicing all day, and he's just getting better and better! (He still prefers standing though!)

Remembering: 31 Years Ago Today...

"July 6^th we celebrated Clint’s 1^st birthday. Grandma and Grandpa Andersen and Grandma and Grandpa Boneck, Robyn, Lisa, Deanna, Robert, Daniel, Merrill, Sharlene, Doug, Mindy, Noel, Penny, Marcia, Michelle, Ryan and Doug and Terry were all over at our house. We ate cake and ice cream and Clint tore into his gifts. He got a shirt, a pull turtle, plastic pop beads (large), a bath tug boat, shorts and a tank top, a t-shirt and baby food grinder. We all had a fun time. He still isn’t walking."

Reverently, Quietly

What did Max learn at church today? Well, nothing. We didn't go on account of the sore throat that I have (here's hoping no one else catches it!) but that didn't stop Max from practicing being reverent. Those chubby arms don't fold together very well, but he's trying!

PS: He'll be 5 months tomorrow!!!!

Eclipse....

Is there no end to this Twilight hysteria? You know it's taken over when your HUSBAND requests we see it on date night, and acts like a 17 year old girl through the whole thing. Even Max got 'bit' by the Eclipse bug...here he is doing his best impression of a Newborn trying to quench his thirst.
